All documents prior to be legalized by our Consular Office must be certified by one of the following Italian authorities:

  • Local Chamber of Commerce (legalization named “ex visto U.P.I.C.A.”)
  • Local Prefecture
  • Local office of the Public Prosecutor
Please note that Certificates of Origin must always be legalized together with the relevant invoice. A copy of each document should be left for our archive (WE DO NOT MAKE COPIES).


The following documents are required for each stamp:
  • Certificates of Origin (original and copy)
  • Invoices
  • Health Certificates
  • Contracts
  • Packing list
  • Price Certificate

Processing time for the issuance of the legalization is of 3 working days.


All applications can be submitted personally at Consolato dello Yemen Via Antonio Bosio, 10 00161 Rome from Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 12.00 Visas, passports and documents can be collected by the applicants, by a courier or sent back via ordinary mail.
In this last case, applications should include a stamped addressed envelope.

Payments must be made directly at the Consular Office by draft cheque (to “Ambasciata dello Yemen”) or cash.
